Dear Acupuncture Center of Asheville Community,
It is with great excitement that I’m writing you to announce the presence of a new affordable mental health care initiative now available to you in Asheville.
Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a nonprofit organization matching clients with licensed, experienced, mental health professionals in private practice for extremely affordable rates.
Here's how it works:
1. Search our online directory and find a therapist.
2. After finding a therapist, submit a one-time fee of $100 to Open Path via PayPal.
3. Make an appointment with your chosen therapist. The price of treatment ranges from $30-50 per session. You and your therapist will decide on this number together, and you pay the therapist directly.
The Mountain Xpress covered our launch this week with an article that can be read here: http://goo.gl/dX2X9.
Here’s our most recent listing of Open Path member therapists seeking clients at a reduced-fee in the Asheville area: http://bit.ly/12j7Lm5
We also have a wide variety of Open Path therapists around the country who see clients online through Skype or a similar type of Internet video service.
If you are one of the many people who would like and benefit from quality psychotherapy but can’t afford the typical fee scale, Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is here to help.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions: info@openpathcollective.org
My thanks, Annalisa Birdsall
Director of Community Outreach

Keep yourself warm and healthy this season by attending a Winter Qi Gong class! These 2-hour Sat***ay morning sessions are designed to teach simple movement sets and breathing techniques that support the kidneys and regulate your Qi during the cold months of the year. Held at Phil's home residence in Weaverville, the small group setting provides an intimate, calming environment for those interested in improving and promoting their body's natural healing processes.
