Post-Concussion Syndrome Definition
Post-concussion syndrome is a disorder wherein the symptoms of concussion (a type of mild traumatic brain injury, usually occurring after a blow to the head) remains to be felt for weeks or even months after the impact which caused the concussion.

There is no single test to prove the presence of a post-concussion syndrome. A brain scan, to determine the cause of the symptoms, MRI scans, and referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist, in appropriate cases, may be done to help arrive at a diagnosis.
