Here is the roasted fruit I promised and this pear was barely ready.
I like to pair the roasted fruit with a sharp cheese (white cheddar, gorgonzala or gruyere)

As I was planning my menu for the BIG meal coming up I thought I would share this HEALTHY salad that I like. There is one change I made to due to the fact the pears can brown fast. I roasted the pears in the oven with light oil and onion salt for about 20 min or until lightly browned (use hard to firm fruit) over ripe will turn out mushy. So here is the link to the recipe.
