Our nervous system controls everything in our body, if there is an abnormal pressure on our vertebrae. When an accidents occurs with a fall, a sports injury or car accident etc.. it causes a delay or stop in the information that is trying to get to its destination. One of the most common places for an "accident" occurs around the spinal column. At each level of the spinal column, spinal nerves exit through a hole called an intervertebral foramen. When one of the spinal bones moves out of its normal alignment, it can cause pressure on a spinal nerve. This is called a subluxation. A nerve does not function as it ought to when this pressure exists. This is what makes a patient feel the way that they do. We can remove that subluxation and give relief to the injured areas that are inducing your pain! This is just one of very many reasons to see your chiropractor on a regular basis.
If we can prevent disease and injury why wouldn't we?
